Which Trials

The Salem Witch trials which spanded from June to September in 1962 resulted in 19 people, men, women, and children being hung. It was all started by a group of girls and a fearful town. The '"afflicted" girls caused mass hysteria through out the town and soon the word "witchcraft" was being used frequently It all started wuth a small group of girls and a slave. …caused by a group of girls and a Devil fearing town. That and the belief that Satan was actually in Salem costed 20 plus peopl their lives. The fact that it all started because a bunch of girls didn't want to get in trouble with their parents and have it escalade to what the end result was is unbelievable. It's painful to read how ignorant the people were back then, even the one's who were incharge.
