Why Art Serves Many Functions

To say that art serves no function is absurd. Art is a function of everyday life. First of all, art holds a function to its creator. Art can be expressed through clothing, home décor, expression, housing, food, jewelry, and religion just to name a few. …there is nothing added to embellish on the story. Art holds no limitations for expression and function. I have shown that art displays its functions through all five of the human senses. If art is meant to only exist for its own sake, then someone should tell these artists that they are wasting their time. Whether its purpose is employment or enjoyment, art, without a question has a function beyond existing for its own sake.
