Women and HIV

HIV has been a steadily increasing disease in the United States over the last twenty years. In the past year alone two million new women have become infected with the disease while eighteen point five were already carriers. …young individuals. Discrimination amongst women is only making the long process to a cure even farther from reach. Learning that more and more people are dieing from this disease each year should send off a signal in our heads. It should tell us that we need to work harder at a cure, to get more involvement of women in the clinical trials, and to stick together on a subject like this to beat this disease.
