To help or not to help? Hunger is a very pressing issue and with 24,000 people dying daily it should be. (HS) Unfortunately, it is more than just a moral question of should we help. It is a much more complex question that incorporates political and economic connotations as well. We also have to consider how much to help and at what cost to us? Who do we help? …not to. There are too many different situations and the problems are too intricate. Common sense and human decency is the only real guide we have on moral issues. Morals may very from person to person, but it is important that we act as an individual, as a state, as a nation, as a world and most importantly as a human to ensure that at least the barest essentials of life are afforded to everyone.
