History of Zimbabwe Many years ago, groups of hunters organized together and lived in the area now known as Zimbabwe. Over time this group of hunters were slowly taken over by a more powerful group of people called the Shona who spoke on of the many Bantu languages. The Shona moved in to Zimbabwe around the time of Christ. They raised livestock and farmed on land that they used the slash and burn technique to
disagreements of the black population of zimbabwe a civil war broke out in 1972. It started out that the war fare of the british was to strong for the blacks but after years of fighting zimbabwe finnally got its independence in 1987. The blacks regained control over Zimbabwe after many years and then it was time to set up government and work on managing people who had gone through years of war and fighting over there home.
