Some examples would be Prairie Dogs, badgers, beavers, pelicans, antelope, buffalo, and so on. He had killed some of the species to bring back to President Jefferson, and he had stuffed them and everything. Therefore, Lewis and Clark have learned a lot already from the animals they have seen.
