…period. In all, I think that the book- to- movie sequence, in this instance gave the reader more insight to what Dickens was trying to do with this book. It opens up your mind more to actually see a human form turned into a miserly man with a bitter mouth and old features. The film also had scenes that helped capture the fright and sorrow of old scrooge better than I think words could describe.
