…opportunities for everyone was only semi-successful. It paved the way for many women to gain more rights in society and provided minorities with many new opportunities. However, some changes that should have been made were not. Unions were still looked down upon, and people were still getting paid very low wages after working long tedious hours. Despite those flaws, the progressive movement made vast advances in society and has paved the way for future equality.
