Poems are compositions in verse which might have several interpretations based on the readers` comprehension. The use of comparisons is one of the important keys, which help the reader to relate the contents of the poem to his/her life. Essays, articles, poems, etc. are means of carrying messages to the reader, but I find poems more interesting since it's context gives the reader several interpretations
