A Physics Investigation of the Resistance: Of A Piece of Wire?

Aim: The aim of this investigation is to investigate and discover if the length of a piece of metal wire effects its resistance when electricity is passed through it. I feel that the only way to make it more accurate would be to use a different method - perhaps were we had a thin metal bar that was strong and did not bend like the piece of wire. We could have used a different instrument like an ohmmeter to measure the resistance instead of measuring the voltage and current and then dividing the voltage by the current.
