A Safe Prom Night

Prom season is almost here and for teenage girls this means the stress of buying dresses, making hair appointments and decided who to go with. Although that is exciting, for many families painful memories of past prom seasons make each passing one seem like nothing more than a reoccurring nightmare due to the fatalities of alcohol and drugs. …each other to a game or two, go to a late-night coffeehouse and relive the evening for hours or even gather in a friend's house or backyard to turn up the music, and really dance the night away. If that is not interesting to you, there are many communities who sponsor alcohol free all night parties. Teens who engage in alcohol free activities are much less likely to suffer any of the harms described above.
