…It was a symbiotic relation ship. Leper needed them both. If Leper did not have his friends he would have not been able to cope at all with war. If Gene did not have Finny he would not go out and do exciting things. If Finny did not have Gene then he would be a very bad student. With out one of these three players the story would degrade and so would all the events.
