A description of an abandoned factory near my house. Great for creative writing classes. Very descriptive.

I make my way towards the hole in the fence. It's overgrown with vines and leaves. This is one of the many entrances to Curtis Wright, an abandoned factory located in the middle of the woods that my friends and I often frequent. The path to the factories is covered with brown leaves, and I struggle to keep from slipping as I walk. By now all the trees are leafless, which helps me see farther …

…In this case man has entered nature and industrialized it. If wanted, I could enter the world of nature again by walking a few hundred feet into the forest of trees that surround me, but this scene would not be as interesting without the buildings and pavement. Take away man's world, and this natural setting would not be as surreal as it is. I sit and revel in the beautiful scene nature and man created.
