A man for all season

Sir Thomas More plays the character of man stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand he has sworn to uphold the will of his Lord, King Henry the VIII, but on the other side he expresses his loyalty to his faith and the church in Rome. With more people like Sir Thomas More, who will not compromise their values to appease someone else, and stand for what they believe is right. Society as a whole would be that much easier and acceptable to change for the good of humanity and improvement of life in general.
