…Beloved Country shows how certain financial influences can change the way in which a person acts or even treats income than Steven. He treats Steven differently when they meet and this is very noticeable. It seems almost that John now talks down to his brother because he has money when the reality is his brother is a priest who would have defiantly higher standing authority. This exhibits the theory that money corrupts, and it does.
