A Midsummer Night's Dream

The purpose of this paper is to discuss Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream and how he creates such enticing characters that lure the reader into the fairy world through their language, imagery, and characterization. Yet, of these creations, one character truly has a gift to take the audience on a spectacular journey through fairyland. This character is Puck, also known as Robin Goodfellow. …Hence, why his characters so quickly enchanted the reader. Shakespeare added the final ingredient to his brew when he combined imagery along with characterization and language. Shakespeare understood that to entice the reader into the fairy world, he had to make his creations consist of luring language, pinpoint characterization, and dreamy imagery. Hence why "A Midsummer Nights Dream" is still a masterpiece and still enchanting readers to fall in love with Shakespeare's dreamy fairy world.
