…taught to be an adult does not mean they can?t be trained to be so. It is simply the fact that most are not taught to be adults because they don?t have to be, so we automatically associate certain ages with the typical level of maturity of their peers. Adulthood depends on the person, and the person?s ability to make adult decisions, not what the ?typical? person at that age would do.
