Agricultural sustainability and biodiversity
Not Enough Farming practices in the world are producing enough food as to sustain 8-10 billion people. This ability to produce food is essential to the well being of our society. As we continue to progress and eliminate more types of land without adopting practices that will result in sustainable resources the food production will dramatically decrease. In order to work toward a sustained ecosystem the policy makers and economists must understand the benefits that
subsidizing farmers who use environmentally sound practices will encourage further development of such practices. As the world continues to expand and human continue to exert their dominance on their surroundings, it becomes increasingly important to practice sustainable farming practices. Without a concerted effort to sustain and increase the current agriculture production and biodiversity of the species we will come to live in a world that is neither stable, nor able to support our future generations.
