Amnicon Falls

Amnicon Falls Visiting a waterfall, especially on a sweltering hot day, can be an enjoyable way to spend a day. I get in my car, drive a few miles out of town to Amnicon State Park, then get out and walk the cleared paths to the falls. The trails are well worn from the many visitors. …of the waterfall and take it all in. I drift off into my own world, oblivious to everything except for the sound of rushing water. The sun begins to set, and the sky turns into a pinkish-orange color. It is a stunning sight. Slowly I rise, knowing I should start heading back to my car. I take one last look at the natural splendor in its evening beauty, producing a mental image to cherish forever.
