Analysis of the Plot

There are three major events or conflicts in the book, which contribute to the overall plot of the book. …unnoticeable at first. After reading a few pages of the chapter I finally realized that the book had changed the setting of time. I felt that the jump in years was kind of drastic, but I guess the book needed it to explain the events that were to come. For example, the psychological growth of Dorian, while leaving his appearance the same. The everlasting friendship between Lord Henry and Dorian, and the murder of Basil.
