For thousands of years civilizations have tried to achieve the "perfect society" and tried to convince others to use it as a model. Some successfully achieved their goal while others sadly failed in this attempt and Athens is one of these societies. …in history; an example of this would be the tragic end of the Spanish Armada. Trying to protect their possessions, many times one becomes what one fears. We, humans, are full of flaws that might constantly obstruct us to achieve the perfection we are persistently wanting. Can we reach this state of excellence? Do we have the capacity to do so? And if at each time we fail, then why do we continue to try?
