Banjamins franklins thirteen virtues

In Benjamin Franklin's "The Autobiography", he explains that he wishes to be morally perfect. If humans exemplified silence, order, humility, among others through their actions they could become successful and morally perfect. He believed that if one achieved all 13 virtues described in his autobiography then they would reach perfection. …into a mental hospital. In the end, Franklin realized that every human has faults and no one is perfect. It is impossible to reach perfection in any of these virtues. I think the best thing one can do to reach perfection is to be comfortable with themselves and only change themselves if they need to. Trying to achieve a virtue is not a bad thing, but no one should "climb over mountains" to attain them.
