But when the hunters begin to like killing, the reader is left wondering if they, too, would enjoy the thrill and wish to continue killing. This book makes the reader ponder if they would have changed to Jack's group because of the thrill of killing or if you would have stayed with sensible Ralph trying to keep a signal fire going.
