Bookreport: Neuromancer - William Gibson

This book is a mark in the sci-fi genre: it is supposed to be the first Cyberpunk book to be written and published. What is Cyberpunk? Its main characteristics: it takes place in the near future; it features an "anti hero", one who lives at the edge of society. …the characters. It happens rarely though. All in all, a good story. Sadly, it didn't meet my expectations. Because it's considered a "bread book", I thought it would be at least as good as Dune, and I found it just wasn't, very nice but if it wasn't the first Cyberpunk book, I don't think it would become a member in the pantheon of sci-fi. I cant even give an explanation, it just doesn't have "it".
