Brief Analysis of "The Shawl"

…be hidden. Sometimes people hide rather than solve their fears or problems. Their problems were major, but the fabric helped them insure their security and keep the child happy for quite some time. Many instruments will be used to hide the truth, but eventually the truth and hurt does prevail. When I was a child, I used my blanket for security as well; one could hide behind the blanket, but the problems would not cease.
