Brutus the tragic hero

In all Shakespearean tragedies, the central character of the play is someone with a highly sensitive moral conscience, who suffers and dies because of a tragic weakness in his character .A tragic hero usually has three important characteristics : his superiority which makes his destruction seem more tragic , his goodness which arouses pity and his tragic flaws . They are all presented as someone neither entirely good nor entirely evil, but who is led by some tragic flaw to commit an act that results in suffering and utter defeat.
