The meaning for me is that one should take advantage of opportunities with wisdom and care, analyzing each move we make, not making precipitous decisions and not thinking only about the effects that will cause us that decisions, but also how decisions will decisions affect the ones who surround us. Opportunities only knock once at your door. Be there and do not slam your door, or be afraid to open it. Seize the chance!
