Caterbury Tales "The Pardoner"

In the prologue of Caterbury Tales, there were many different characters mentioned. Geoffrey Chaucer had a very unique way of explaining and characterizing each character. He had a way of criticizing each character that covered the criticism with compliments. He showed the good and the bad side of everyone. He shows ways that money is indeed the root of all evil. And even someone who is a server of Christ finds a way to cheat people for their money. By showing the characteristics of the Pardoner Chaucer shows these flaws and criticizes them to a strong consent.
