Character Analysi on Montresor

…precise. Montresor shows this by having his plan for revenge worked our to the finest detail. He knew that Fortunato "prided himself on connoisseurship in wine." Knowing this Montresor lured Fortunato into the catacombs with a tale of Amontillado. Montresor had the place picked our that the bricks waiting. He also carried this trowel with him " from beneath the folds of my roquelaire a trowel." This allowed Montresor to get away with the perfect crime.
