Comparison Between Seamus Heaney's 'Mid-Term Break' And Liz Lochhead's 'The Prize'

Even though all poets are different, many have very similar backgrounds and also the poem that they have written has the same effect. In 'Mid-Term Break' they are his family, the community and death. In 'The Prize' they are her students and death. In conclusion, I have found that 'Mid-Term Break' and 'The Prize' are two contrasting yet similar poems. The topics dealt with in each poem vary but some are alike.
