…for them. Thus, hackers are helping to protect the information superhighway from crackers and terrorists. Computer crime is a major part of our technological society and should be dealt with similarly to "real" crimes. As the future approaches, more and more people are gaining experience with technology. That experience doesn't come without a price. That price is the power to manipulate technology for personal gain, which usually results in a drawback, typically financial, to others.
