…They would tease me and call me "Crash." It was not until later, when I questioned my mother about that time of my life. She told me of how the doctor's misdiagnosis sent me home with a 3½-inch skull fracture. It was not until two days later that we found this out. I could tell that it brought up many memories for her. I wish I only could remember it for myself.
