Dreams Forever: A Raisin in the Sun

What are dreams and why are they so important? It is my belief that dreams give people a hope and a reason to live, beyond any explanation. Without it, life couldn't have any meaning and everything in this world can seem pointless. The play shows how some people still go on living, even when some of their dreams don't come true. …are possible, sometimes, if fate doesn't make people take a different turn. She was aware that not all dreams come true, but people should still try and be happy no matter where they are or how they live their lives. I think that Lorraine Hansberry was very clear about how she felt and the play showed most vividly, her attitude towards dreams and the consequences and obstacles that people have to face in their lifetime.
