Electric cars are meant to be economically and environmentally better for road way passage. Electric cars create less pollution then gasoline powered cars making them more environmentally friendly. Although electric cars in shape are not much different then gasoline powered cars there are a lot more changes under the hood. …train which means there is a more chance for failure and typical mechanics cannot fix it, parts for a hybrid also cost more and aren't as readily available as parts for a conventional car, also special high mileage tires for hybrids cost more to replace, the acceleration capabilities of some hybrids is less then that of comparable vehicles, high-performance electric cars are not yet available is hybrid there focused more on economy then on speed.
