When I received the criteria for this essay I knew that writing this would be a personal challenge to myself. …Emerson. My attendance there will both help me grow as a journalist and as a person. I know that my acceptance would be symbiotic for the school and me because I am a very motivated person and have shown that I can accept responsibilities. I set very high standards for myself, especially when it comes to journalism, and I know that when you accept me I will not let either the school or myself down.
