…nd 0.12cc. We noticed that 1.0cc of catylase turned reactants into products at a much faster rate than 0.5 and 0.5 proceeded faster than 0.25 and 0.12cc. This means that a greater mass and concentration of an enzyme makes the reaction proceed faster than a smaller mass and concentration of the same enzyme but in the end, the same amount of oxygen gas is produced. Other factors affecting the use of enzymes are temperature and pH.
