In the short story "Everyday Use" written by Alice Walker, Dee and Maggie are two sisters who share a completely different personality with each other. The author created a sense of difference and similarity between these two sisters by the describing their appearances and by their behavior. In the story, Dee and Maggie are raised in a family, but they became very different people. Maggie is very unattractive and awkward but Dee is very beautiful
not giving it to Dee. The behaviors between these two sisters are very diverse with each other. In addition of the differences between these two sisters, their pint of view is quite different from each other. Dee treats the quilts as "priceless" thing, they're very valuable to her and she says she will display them in her home. But Maggie treats the quilts as a thing keep her to remember her grandmother and her aunt.
