Exploring the World of Mythology

It is the nature of man to wonder about the unknown and explain the inexplicable. It is also this craving for knowledge that has inspired man to create wonderful stories of his origin. Though fictional, these stories have firmly established their presence in ancient artifacts, manuscripts, and paintings. …for knowledge was evident throughout the world, from the Chinese to the Babylonians to the Christians, and all shared similar concepts in their creation myths. Today, both the scientific community and the society have rejected the explanation by the ancient people; and in its place are scientific ideas and theories. Stories that were once science became myths, and perhaps one day, theories that are considered as science today might just become the myths of tomorrow.
