…there was a lot of grudging respect from both sides this respect would have been mainly for the soldiers they encountered. I doubt if the Turks would have held much respect for the commanding officers or Allies for that matter due to the recklessness and inefficiency displayed when they ordered the Anzacs into battle. Due to this lack of planning and forethought the Turks might have even thought that Allied governments were stupid and arrogant.
