These changes of attitude and behaviour are what cause the audience to feel insecure about what to think of her. …extent a part of her. Her manipulative skills will not disappear simply because she takes control of her life. She is doing a very selfish act as well, walking out on her children, husband and responsibilities. I agree with Nora's decision to a large extent, keeping in mind that this is written at a time where her actions were highly disrespected, my conclusion will be that Ibsen was a great writer ahead of his time.
