…Al Capone was caught and put in jail by Elliot Ness. Ness did have some things to do with it but the story he later told is the one in the novel and that story has little truths to it. The worst part about it is that the American public sees the truth as in the novel and not what happened in real life. This truly shows how the credibility of history can be tarnished.
