Honor of a Hero

Heroes generally have one thing in common; they can be characterized as being loyal, honest, adventurous, brave, and pure. Joseph Campbell's idea of a hero includes four stages. The first stage that a hero goes through is called dependency, which is described as the childhood. The second stage is adulthood. …Arc. She was very honest about her religion. She was not afraid to take a stand for what she believed in. She showed her bravery when she left home to drive the English off of the French Soil. She was self sacrificing because she was not afraid to die for her country. Joan was burned to death in front of a large crowd. We could use more heroes like Sir Gawain and Joan of Arc.
