How can we be Tolerant and Have Principles?

Tolerance and principles are two fundamental human qualities. We all, as human beings, are special in a way. Each one of us has his own destination, wishes, desires, and principles. However none of us lives in a private isolated world, so she or he meets and interacts with others. In order for relationships among us to be smooth, we have to be tolerant of each other. …work just because he likes the place. The rate of world's development would surely decrease and eventually head self destruction. It seems like a good idea to suppress our most extravagant or inferior principles and create a harmony of tolerance with respecting everyone's needs. We all would appreciate the others being good to us so we should be equally good to them. I sincerely hope that I am not the only one with these ideas.
