Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

Huckleberry Finn has received censorship because of its possibility of threatening young people's morals, offensive stereotypes, dialect, and blacks seeming uneducated. I'm against the censorship of Huckleberry Finn because the criticism had nothing really supporting it; the censors didn't get the underlying message; and they didn't give the novel a chance. …of it. The critics see the word nigger and quickly say it's racist before they actually read the whole novel to see the true meaning behind it. Also, the criticism against this novel causes other people to not want to read the book. Since Huckleberry Finn is a classic American tale, it would be horrible if someone didn't read it because of the criticism it received by critics who obviously didn't even understand the work.
