…appears that insoluble fiber (found in whole grain breads and cereals, vegetables, some fruits and seeds) appears to be more effective than soluble fiber (found in oats, legumes, and some fruits). This was found to be true in the American study. People don't eat just one food at a time. It would be purposeful to look at the ways foods and risk factors interact for further future research to pinpoint the causes of colon cancer.
