Is science the supreme form of knowledge?

For some people science is the supreme form of all knowledge. Is this view reasonable or does it involve a misunderstanding of science or of knowledge? Science can be defined as the process of evaluating empirical knowledge (scientific method) and a global community of scholars where an organized body of knowledge is gained by the process and is carried by the community. …forms such as religion. However, science is considered to be a form of knowledge in which many people rely on because people can see the results of Science's claims, 'laws' and 'properties'. People also believe that it is a vital form of knowledge as it is verifiable and today, those who challenge theories aren't shunned and persecuted anymore instead they are encouraged by the members of the scientific community.
