The Character of Macbeth fits Shakespeare's definition of a tragic hero. He let his main flaw, which is his ambition becomes his undoing. Three aspects of this will be discussed. His wife, Lady Macbeth nursed that seed as she was blinded by her greed and manipulated Macbeth into thinking that he wanted what she wanted, which was for these prophecies to come true no matter what the cost. Then his ambitions just ran away with him for the rest of the time. They got carried away, taking many people with him, and letting his flaw become his undoing, which ultimately resulted in his death.
