Macbeth Character Study for GCSE stdents.
In this essay I am going to discuss the character of Macbeth, from the famous Shakespearian play of the same name. I shall show the themes of the play, the effects of character and action and Shakespeare's use of language and linguistic devices. In scene two we learn that Macbeth is a brave soldier as he is said to be 'brave Macbeth' by his captain in the army, a 'worthy gentleman' by the king and
knows that he is going to die he still fights with Macduff until he is killed. As I have shown, Macbeth had both good and bad sides to his character, he was very good at the beginning but he was highly influenced by the witches which turned him into a greedy monster but I still felt a bit of sympathy for him at the end when his wife died and he had to die fighting.
