"Macbeth's three sorrows" Describes the roles of family and the things they go through in Macbeth

Family is defined as any group of people related by blood or marriage. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are a family experiencing unhappiness in a few of its most concentrated forms. The final addition to Macbeth's plight was the prophecy of the Weird Sisters who said he would not be harmed by any woman born. The emotions which he was already feeling took hold of this prophecy and used it to warp Macbeth's reality.
