Marxism

It is hard to imagine that the powerful individual, Stalin, was once a peasant himself who was always under strict rule of the Tsarist regime. Stalin, as a young man who hated the political system he was under, was introduced to Marxism, a political philosophy which he became very interested in and devoted to. Marxism is a theory that the class system should be destroyed and that all citizens should be completely equal. Stalin, however, …

…ones desire to escape control and having it yourself. I do believe that anyone who is aware of being under an oppressive state and is willing to fight for their freedom will carry out the steps that Winston and Stalin performed. But if someone is in the same situation as Winston was in, it is better off to not oppose the political regime that they are under, because it will only result in more unhappiness.
